About Us and Our Products

Sophie Kate Candles are all-natural soy wax candles infused with an essential oil/fragrance oil blend. Our mission is to create uniquely beautiful candles with natural scents that are both good for the environment and good for people.

Founder, Katie Bono, a former elementary school teacher and avid crafter, first began dabbling in candle-making with essential oils in early 2017. After much trial and error, Katie discovered that to attain the best scent throw, an essential oil and fragrance oil blend is best.

In 2020, Katie expanded her candle making to include the ever-popular wooden dough bowls and blocks. These unique bowls and blocks are hand-carved and treated with a fire-retardant. They are as safe as they are beautiful! They can be refilled with another scent or reused as a piece of home decor.  Each Sophie Kate Candle is poured by hand in Ponte Vedra, Florida.
